Sydnie & Sean

This past fall, we hopped in our car and trekked halfway across the country to capture Sydnie and Sean’s incredible wedding at an airport in Arkansas. Perhaps it is our love for all things aviation, but when we first saw the word, “airport”, we knew it was going to be truly awesome. Sydnie and Sean are some of the kindest people we have ever met, and their wedding truly reflected their love for one another. From the many heartfelt speeches shared at the welcome dinner, hand written letters, and ceremony performed by Sydnie’s grandfather, everything was personal. With 900 guests arranged in a circle, it was still such an intimate experience as Sydnie and Sean exchanged vows on the tarmac. After the ceremony, guests headed into cocktail hour on the tarmac, where several airstream trailers were parked with some of Sydnie and Sean’s favorite foods. There was even a coffee bar and ice cream food truck for guests to experience! During cocktail hour, we all headed onto the runway with Sydnie and Sean for some truly epic portraits as the sun set. With a sound of an alarm, the large hangar doors opened behind the guests at cocktail hour to reveal the wedding party. Guests were invited inside the hangar as The Memphis Soul Revue got the party started. As guests danced into the night, Sydnie and Sean prepared for their exit to Dallas aboard a private jet. With matching leather coats, Sydnie and Sean boarded their plane, and took off into the night sky. It was an incredible night with so many fun-loving people – and we give all the credit to the team at Zimmerman Events for bringing their vision to life!
